Promotional How-To pamphlet published by Sears, Roebuck & Co. I have seen this particular set of stock images appear in several other pamphlets, booklets, and "regular" cookbooks in my collection. They were apparently in wide use during this time.

Big saute pan. I have mostly nonstick cookware. This allows me to go from stovetop to oven now. For example: searing meat or fish steaks and finishing them in the oven; running things under the broiler. Its large surface area allows browning of more meat or veggies simultaneously without overcrowding.
Stainless steel with aluminum core, lid included.
